Both Thespian Arts Brownhills (juniors) and Thespian Arts Rugeley are producing this musical but you only have to be a member of one branch and attend one audition day. The two branches will share the same show week, set, and show venue but their actual productions will be totally separate and have different casts.
BROWNHILLS
Rehearsals will be on Wednesdays at Brownhills Community Centre (WS8 7JS) from 6:30pm till 8:30pm.
It is £7.50 a session.
RUGELEY
Rehearsals will be on Thursdays at Rugeley Rose Theatre (WS15 2AA) from 7pm till 8:30pm.
It is £7.50 a session.
Show week will take place at Rugeley Rose Theatre (WS15 2AA) from 11th to 17th May 2026.
No experience is necessary, and everyone gets a role! Our Brownhills junior musical theatre group is for ages 7 to 12, (if your child is over 12 they can join our senior group that runs at the same time) and our Rugeley musical theatre group is for ages 7 to 17.
A group session will take place on the audition day where everyone will do musical theatre activities as a group. This allows us to see who stands out, and who works well together. During this group audition, those who want to try for lead roles will be taken to another room to do solo auditions, using one of the audition packs below. Auditionees do not have to do a solo audition, as everyone who attends on audition day gets a role in the show. You do however, have to do a solo audition if you want to be considered for a lead role.
