GUITAR
OUR GUITAR GROUP PROVIDES OUR STUDENTS WITH THE SKILLS TO FULLY UTILISE THEIR INSTUMENT
The guitar group covers practical acoustic guitar techniques, as well as musical theory.
The group is suitable for beginners who have a passion to learn the instrument, and for those looking to advance the skills they already have. The group work towards regular showcases, public events and annual performances in our Summer Show and Christmas Show. Guitars can be provided, upon request, and private lessons are also available (see below).
GUITAR PRIVATE LESSONS
We are pleased to offer the community, guitar private lessons. As part of this service, our tutor travels to your home allowing you to learn in a comfortable environment without the hassle of travelling.
These lessons are taught by Owen Allen who has previously been Vice Chairperson for a Charity organisation in which he lead the Guitar lessons for 3 years.
Owen has developed excellent teaching techniques and his lesson plans are fun and engaging which encourages the students to maintain their dedication, as they enjoy the lessons. The lessons and teaching model have proven to be highly successful.
