New Beginnings

Updated: Sep 18, 2020

"And suddenly you know... It's time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings", Meister Eckhart. This quote is what I have stood by throughout my time here at Thespian Arts. Our journey as a company has not been easy. From naive minds at the start, to quickly developing ourselves as individuals and growing the business - you soon realise that no matter what you face in this world, having the right people with passion behind you will help you get through anything, even a new beginning.

Our first chapter started in 2017 where our company only ran one project (Drama) with a total of eight young people, a tutor and a volunteer. The idea of Thespian Arts was to create something that would survive financially on it's own without the need of funding grants which can be so tough to obtain, with tutors having the passion and drive to develop something they love, the Arts. Our latest chapter has had many hurdles in the road. With a global pandemic putting a halt on our projects and people's lives, I can honestly say that the innovative ideas that steamed from our tutors during the lockdown has ensured that our company and our amazing students will thrive through the tough times and enjoy the new beginnings that are to come.

Our intention with these blogs are to hear from people all over our company to ensure that everyone's voice is being heard. Whether that's talking about our latest projects, event or experiences. As this blog is part of our new beginnings, I would like to remind you that our classes are always open for anyone who wishes to sign up, whether this is a small part of your new beginning or something that would reignite your passion for the arts again. Thespian Arts will always be here with our arms open.

We hope that you enjoy reading these blogs as much as we enjoy writing them. I would like to thank you all for the support and encouragement you have given to Thespian Arts throughout the years and especially through Covid-19.
